Violeta Iotova (MD, PhD, DSc)/PI for MUV, is Professor in Pediatrics, specialist in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases. Prof. Iotova is highly experienced researcher in the field of pediatrics, pediatric endocrinology, rare diseases and public health. Obesity prevention, SGA childhood and adult morbidity, type 1 diabetes mellitus and growth disorders are among her current scientific interests. She serves as Vice-director of the MUV Research Institute, and is Pediatric Co-chair of the working group “Education & Training” of the ENDO-Ern (www.endo-ern.eu)
